First of all, this is not good story. Second it happened. Third, I just don't believe that happened.

I think tourism is merely about Fun, Fun and Fun. Today I was wrong. Today I witnessed the disgraceful things between certain players. For me what they did was totally wrong and disgraceful. For me what they did was totally shameful. What they did - well, they are more than one person, was totally too much.

Several days ago, Highland Resort and Spa contacted me for guiding again. Certainly I was very happy because I could sharpen my skill. Just the day before, I accompanied two tourist from Netherlands, Jakob and His wife. But that was another story. Briefly I met Stefano and Chiara from Italy. In the beginning, I was surprised as well as sorry. Surprised because I would somewhat practice speaking Italian again, sorry because I forget the dictionary that surely would be so much important during the tour. I was thinking that the tour was only a day, but Heaven Knows! I was wrong, instead it was more than 2 days; officially it was two days, but after that there was one day of unintentional visiting to the resort and a transfer-out day. So far it was molto bene.

Our trip today shape like number 8.

That's what I tell Henry and Joe on our trip on July 21, we called it Fun Minahasa. After their PADI Open Water course finished, they still had a couple of relaxing days. Henry contacted me about a day before asking whether or not the trip offer to Minahasa still possible. Seeing that I am free in my schedule on the next day, I answered him the offer was still available. I sent him text messages about the plan and emailed the itinerary and other stuffs via Planet Romeo. We agreed to meet in the morning at La Rascasse resort. My very first meeting with them after the communication via PR was venturesome. They had just finished their breakfast when I arrived.

This post is about my friend, Maikel who works in Highland Resort and Spa for being good friend and doing excellent job. Bravo, Nonong! Bravo!

Every time I have to guide a tour, sometimes the worry of getting into wrong way appears. It happened sometimes either to the driver new to tourism or new to the trip. I observed that it has the possibility of making the tour in a mess. Not only to the losing the way what I worry the most, In fact there are several attitudes from the driver that I found out annoying not only me but also the tourists in the car. That's what I called bad attitudes. The worst thing is that he keeps doing it although it is annoying, and I had to remind him and sometimes using harder way, rebuke. Using mobile phone is the first thing in hand that always annoy me the most. Smoking is another matter. Talking to the other fellow driver when driving also another annoying thing on the road. Throwing garbage outside the car is also another shameful action as well as spitting out. I don't want to share those annoying attitude here though. This blog is a page for laughing and smile.

Journey to the Changing Color Lake

Linow lake is situated in South Tomohon. I came for the first time here with a family from England around the year 2007. Although I had been working in tourism, the fact was I never visited this beautiful place up until I came with them. One thing I know that was because there were so many job had to be done in the resort that I didn't have time to go around, yet to guide tourist even though once in a while I could accompany those who like to risk their traveling program. I was working with Highland Resort and Spa at that time.

Tarsius

Tarsius - tarsius spectrum, (Dwarf Monkey), is one ofthe smallest primate in the world.
Tarsiers are small animals with enormous eyes; each eyeball is approximately 16 mm in diameter an is as large as their entire brain. Tarsiers also have very long hind limbs. In fact, their feet have extremely elongated tarsus bones, from which the animal gets its names. The head and body range from 10 to 15 cm in length, but the hind limbs are about twice this long (including the feet), and they also have a slender tail from 20 to 25 cm long. Their fingers are also elongated, with the third finger being about the same length as the upper arm. Most of the digits have nails, but the second and third toes of the hind feet bear claws instead, which are used for grooming. Tarsiers have very soft, velvety fur, which is generally buff, beige, or ochre in color.
